stopover 스탑오버

A longer layover, typically lasting a day or more, in which a passenger stops at a transit city for an extended period of time before continuing on their journey.

"스탑오버"는 일반적으로 하루 이상 지속되는 더 긴 중간 기착으로 승객이 여행을 계속하기 전에 장기간 환승 도시에 정차합니다.

보통 유럽 여행갈때, 중간 환승지인 나리타에서 1박을 하고 가는 경우인데 이럴 경우 스탑오버가 됩니다.

Layover 레이오버

A "layover" is a brief stay in a transit city between flights. Example sentence: "I have a 2-hour layover in Dallas before my connecting flight to Miami."

비행 사이에 환승 도시에 잠시 머무르는 것. 보통 공항에서 머무는 경우입니다. 예: "마이애미행 비행기를 타기 전에 댈러스에서 2시간 동안 기착해야 합니다."
