 음식을 먹기 위해서 준비하는 과정, 외식을 할 때, 아이들이 식사할 때 등 이러한 과정에서 쓸 수 있는 영어 표현을 알아봤습니다. 

1. 식사 준비 관련 표현 (Preparing Food)

Chopping vegetables

• 뜻: 채소를 썰다

• 동의어: slicing, dicing

She spent an hour chopping vegetables for the stew.
그녀는 스튜를 위해 채소를 한 시간 동안 썰었다.

 

Stirring the soup

• 뜻: 수프를 젓다

• 동의어: mixing, swirling

He kept stirring the soup so it wouldn’t stick to the pot.
그는 냄비에 눌지 않게 수프를 계속 저었다.

Seasoning the meat

• 뜻: 고기에 양념을 하다
